Biography of Shinzo Abe:

1954 - Born in Nagato on the 21st of September.  1977 - Shinzo Abe studied and graduated with a degree in political science at Seikei University.

Shinzo Abe later moved to the United States to study political science at the University of Southern California, though Shinzo Abe received no degree.  1979 - Abe began working for Kobe Steel.

 1982 - Shinzo Abe left Kobe Steel and pursued a number of governmental positions: executive assistant to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, private secretary to the chairperson of the LDP General Council, and private secretary to the LDP secretary-general.  1993 - Shinzo Abe was elected to the first district of Yamaguchi Prefecture, winning the most votes of any election in the prefecture's history.

 1999 - Shinzo Abe became Director of the Social Affairs Division.
