1961 - Appeared in Broadway career as a dancer in Betty Comden-Adolph Green-Jule Styne musical Subways Are For Sleeping. 1963 - Michael Bennett appeared in Meredith Willson's Here's Love and the short-lived Bajour.
1966 - Bennett made his choreographic debut with A Joyful Noise, which lasted only twelve performances. 1967 - Another failure, Henry, Sweet Henry (based on the Peter Sellers film The World of Henry Orient).
1975 - Co-wrote musical "A Chorus Line" (Pulitzer Prize for drama 1976). 1968 - Promises, Promises, an adaptation of the film The Apartment.
1987 - Michael Bennett died on 2nd of July in Tucson, Arizon from complications of AIDS.
