1947 - Prince Hassan bin Talal born on the 20th of March in Amman, Jordan. Prince Hassan bin Al Talal is the son of the late King Talal and Queen Zein al-Sharaf.
1965 - 1999 - Served as Crown Prince of Jordan. There are many theories in relation to why King Hussein made the succession change that Prince Hassan bin Al Talal did, that instead enabled his son Abdullah to become the ruler of Jordan after his death.
1968 - Married Kolkata-born Sarvath Ikramullah, daughter of Pakistani politician Shaista Suhrawardy Ikramullah, who Prince Hassan bin Al Talal first met in London, when they were both youngsters. They have four children together: Princess Rahma, Princess Sumaya, Princess Badiya and Prince Rashid.
