1711 - Born on September 9th in Boston, Massachusetts. Last Governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony.
1727 - Thomas Hutchinson graduated at Harvard, then became an apprentice in his father's counting-room, and for several years devoted himself to business. 1737-1740 - Thomas Hutchinson began his public career as a member of the Boston Board of Selectmen, and a few weeks later Thomas Hutchinson was elected to the General Court of Massachusetts Bay, of which Thomas Hutchinson was a member.
1748 - Thomas Hutchinson carried through the General Court a bill providing for the cancellation and redemption of the outstanding paper currency. 1749 - Thomas Hutchinson was a member of the Massachusetts Council.
1752 - Was appointed judge of probate. 1754 - Thomas Hutchinson was a delegate from Massachusetts to the Albany Convention, and, with Franklin, was a member of the committee appointed to draw up a plan of union.
