1935 - Born on the 14th of April, in Butcher Hollow, Ky1948 - On the 10th of January, a few months before Loretta Webb turned 14. Lynn moved to Washington, Kentucky with her husband at the age of 14.

1950 - Had become the first major female country vocalist. 1960 - Signed her first contract on 1st of February, with Zero Records.

1962 - Loretta Webb joined the Grand Ole Opry, and by the mid hits such as "Don't Come Home A-Drinkin'" made her one of country's biggest stars.          - Loretta Webb recorded her first release in March of that year, with bandleader Speedy West on steel guitar, Harold Hensely on fiddle, Roy Lanham on guitar, Al Williams on bass and Muddy Berry on drums.

1970 - Loretta Webb released her signature song, "Coal Miner's Daughter"; it provided the title of a best-selling autobiography and a popular film.
