1943 - 1960 - Married to Dr. Hardy Uhm and had five children.
1972 - 1979 - Married to James Whitmore from whom Audra Marie Lindley was separated, and their children and grandchildren. 1977 - Her greatest fame arrived when Audra Marie Lindley began playing the wisecracking, perpetually unfulfilled and sexually frustrated Helen Roper on the hit sitcom Three's Company.
1979 - The character and her husband Mr. Roper (played by Norman Fell) were so popular that they were spun off to their own show, The Ropers.
1985 - One of her last notable roles was a character part in the lesbian-themed film Desert Hearts.
