1735 - Leonhard Euler lost sight in his right eye. 1736 - Lost his left eye.

1741 - Leonhard Euler accepted the invitation of Frederick the Great to Berlin, where Leonhard Euler was made a member of the Academy of Sciences and professor of mathematics. 1742 - Leonhard Euler continued his philosophical contributions to the Academy of St.

Petersburg, which granted him a pension. 1748 - Leonhard Euler made significant contributions to the study of differential equations.
